2. Designing Your HomeOnce the land is chosen, it is time to design the perfect home for you and your family. We always try to design a home to face the sun in order to take advantage of passive solar. We feel this is an important part of placing the home on the land. At RMBI, we will listen to you and design a home that will fit your needs and dreams. You can choose from one of our models which we can customize to your liking or we can start from scratch and design your custom home from the ground up. 3. The ConstructionAfter the design process is complete, we apply for all required permits and upon approval, the construction process can really begin. We start by clearing the land which allows us to start excavation. The next phase is the foundation. Weather can be an important factor when it comes to the foundation, especially in winter. We pay close attention to the weather to ensure proper procedures and timing is followed. When the foundation has been completed, the final excavation is completed. The house can then be framed.

4. Heating, Plumbing and ElectricalHeating, plumbing and electrical wires are then installed on the interior of the house while the siding is installed on the exterior. Once completed, your home is now ready for drywall and painting.Finish WorkInterior finish work is the next step. Tile, cabinets, interior trim, light fixtures and plumbing fixtures are installed at this point. Your home is getting close to being finished now.

5. Quality AssuranceA thorough walk through is done by RMBI so that we may correct any problems and take care of every last detail. We want to be sure every detail is complete and done right. Carpet is the final finish that is installed. We then begin the final cleaning of your new home which we take very seriously. We believe that a new home should be spotless so when you walk in, everything is sparkling clean and complete.
